I would super dupa strongly recommend, when upgrading from System Platform 2017 and 2017 U1 to update the permissions on this directory to include Full Control for an admin account.
There is something wrong in the configuration, where post the upgrade, permissions are lost to this directory. The only way to get it back is to logon as the Wonderware Service Account and add another account (This unfortunately doesn’t work if you sys prep the machine). In the meantime the upgrade fails and doesn’t seem to roll back nicely either.
