Aveva have a subscription based licensing model called ‘Flex’ accessible from System Platform 2020 now.
Unfortunately because consignment licenses include Flex licenses, System Platform will detect this and go to Flex licensing mode by default. This wouldn’t be such a pain, except each consignment license has a small quantity of Flex licenses, resulting in you running out very quickly. Therefore to put it into the old licensing mode, add a device reservation for the below 3 licenses and restart the GR Service or Machine (don’t forget to hit apply).
(Note: I also had performance issues in the IDE until I disabled these… not 100% sure it was the cause, but it was very suspicious)
